Author Jackie Bullen

Jackie Bullen, life-long writer, emerges on the scene with heartfelt poetry about memorable aspects of life experiences. A long-time resident of the corporate town of Bartlesville, OK, Jackie raised two boys while walking in the roles of ranchers wife, florist and, eventually, entrepreneur, and grandmother of four. Her family, life, and special moments have helped to shape and inspire her creativity into poems that touch the heart. Poetry has been Jackie's creative outlet for as long as she can remember; even back to the days when the excitement offered in the rural Texas Panhandle towns where she grew up came in the form of stealing watermelons under the cover of a moonlit night. You'll laugh, cry, smile, and remember as you walk with her down memory lane; touched by all things remembered.

Poems inspired by family, life, special moments...all things remembered. Relish the reminiscent miracle of a newborn baby in "Hold Me" or feel the gentle nudge in "Be There" reminding that someday "now" will be no more than a memory. Picture a loved one with a verbal snapshot perfectly depicting fond remembrances in "Jelly Bean." Feel the anticipation as a mother awaits the words that her first grandchild is on the way only to find her child has called to let her know he's made a "Hole In One." Laugh along with "Oklahoma~Texan" as you learn Southern Speak, and many more as you experience Memories Outloud.
